Tried to replace filter would not fit It was delivered outside and was real cold and stiff after I let it set for awhile it warmed up it fit great. Thank you Calvin

To start off I am disabled so I had my 14 year old daughter to help me.I opened the top of the dryer,disconnected the door button and had my daughter help wire the top open and take off the front panel.We took this time to clean out the dryer for it was quite built up with lint.I then gave my daughter my cell phone and told her to stick it in the dryer to take pictures of the area we needed to work on.I then showed her the pictures and explained in detail how everything worked and what she needed to do.I then put the belt around the drum and she proceeded to put the belt on the pulley and tension rod.At this point we are both filty and both have gotten miner injuries.I spun the drum and it and the belt both spun,we thought GREAT we have fixed it,so we put it all back together,plugged it in and nothing.So we take it back apart,but this time I stick my hand in there and find out she didn't have the belt on the pulley,it was wrapped around the tension rod so I fixed that problem.Then I figured out that she hadn't pulled the tension rod over to its proper place so I do that as well.This time I spin the motor fan in front to make sure we have it right.We put it all back together, plug it in and it WORKS,so we throw the jeans in because we have to be at a B DAY party in a couple hours.The dryer buzzer goes off and we both go to check and the clothes are soaking wet.I open the top of the dryer and the brand new belt is broken.So many mixed emotions at this time I cant tell you how disappointed and upset we where.So she took her jeans out and used a hair blow dryer to dry them and I hung the rest all over the house.So I decide not mess with the dryer for a couple days because of my frustrations with it.We have to do laundry everyday,I have three teenagers,so I have clothes drying all over my house every day.Even went to the laundry mat once $40.00 it cost me.A couple days go by and I decide to see what happend. This time I have my 15 year old daughter help me.I completely disconnect the dryer from everything.We put it on top of A table and take it apart.What do I find?the motor pulley is broken and has jagged edges the shredded a piece of the new belt.As I mentioned earlier I am disabled and am on SS so I only get paid once a month and have no extra money so now I have to wait until the end of November to order another belt and the motor pulley.In the mean time there is wet laundry hanging all over my house with fans blowing on it to help dry it faster.So what was supposed to cost approximately $20.00 to fix is now going to total over $100.00.I do thank you for the speedy delivery of the dryer belt and we had A great time at the B DAY party.thanks

The instructions were easy to follow and the pulley on the replacement part was evenbetter quality than the original. I also followed the recommendation to clean the lint trap. Now the dryer works quieter and better than it ever did. Thanks for your product!

I have a whirlpool gas dryer. My dryer all of a sudden would not heat up. I diagnosed the problem and discovered that it would light (using the peep hole in the front) when the dryer was cold, but once warm, the flame would go out. I bought a cheap multimeter and tested all the themostats on the back of the unit after removing the back panel. All the thermomstats checked out except the cycling thermostat which should no signal through one of the connections (purple wires). I ordered a new thermo and replaced the old one but it didn't fix the problem. Seems that there isn't a current between the purple connections.... Since the flame did light when the unit was cold I figured it wasn't the ignitor so it was either the flame sensor or the coils. I took the top and front panels off (alot easier than I thought; see videos) and checked the flame sensor with my multimeter. It was fine. Only thing left was the coils, so I ordered a set. IF YOU NEED COILS, SAVE YOURSELF MONEY AND ORDER THE PAIR. YOU GET BOTH COILS FOR < HALF THE PRICE IF ORDERING INDIVIDUALLY. Replacing the coils was rather easy. You will need to prop up the drum with something to keep it from impeding your screwdriver. A stubby philips really helped here. Also, since the gas valves are closed when there is no power, there is no need to disconnect the gas line and fuss about a gas leak (This really saved time). Once the two screws for the coil plate were out of the way, the coils simply slide off the valves and unplug easily. NOTE: Make sure you line up the one new coil with plate when you put it back together. It has a little tab that fits into the plate. All-in-all it took about 30-60 minutes to do. If I were to do it again it would probably take 15 minutes. Pretty easy job for a do-it-yourselfer with only basic tools.

The new lint screen fit perfectly. All I had to do was slip it in the lint filter slot.

Found right parts for problem on this website. Handyman took down machine and installed the drum support wheels. Taking apart was not too difficult; getting drum and dryer face aligned properly was a bit difficult and took longer than expected (and 3 of us). However, it was much better than having to buy a new dryer, since there was very little really wrong with this one. BTW, it was "out of warranty" so it would have cost around $150-$250 to repair using the repair service from the retailer we bought it from. Saved lots of money. Thanks.

I would like to say first of all that I was amaized and pleased at how simple the ordering of this part was and while looking at the parts diagram on you website I noticed the door swing was optional and could be easily changed and the dryer came from the factory with a latch installed on both sides of the door. In our laundry room the dryer sits to the left of the washer and the door to the dryer opened to the right which has always been a slight inconvenience. . . So instead of changing out the broken part, I took the door and hinge off with my cordless screwdriver (6-8 screws) and turned it around and remounted it on the opposite side. . . Simple! I never took the new part out of the ups envelope. Now I have a spare so I taped the new part in the envelope to the back of the dryer in case I ever need it and now we have more convenience with the door swinging the correct way. Sweet deal! I watched several Youtube videos for this repair. The best showed a man taking you through every part of replacing the rear felt seal. I used binder clips from my home office and he used clothes pins to keep the seal in place while gluing it and letting it set. To completely finish this repair, it takes over 24 hours to get your dryer ready for drying again. Steps to repair: you need to get to the dryer drum, watch a video on how to do this to include taking off belt, idler pulley. Remove Drum from the dryer. take off all the old felt seal. take out new felt seal and place around the drum, it will be pretty tight. secure the seal by using clothes pins or binder clips all the way around the drum. this will help you keep the seal on the drum and guide you as you use the glue to bind the seal to the drum. Using the adhesive provided with the felt seal, going around the drum, glue down the seal and re-clip it so the glue gets a good grip. let dry of at least 1 hour. Cannot use the dryer for another 24 hours to make sure the glue dries completely and is ready for the heat. I had already replaced the 2 rollers, 2 shafts, belt, idler pulley and start switch and dryer still squeaked. Then I replaced the rear felt seal. NOW I am replacing the bulkhead because it is worn flat in some places and is warped. I am waiting on the part.

I researched the issue, found a video and ordered the belt, which came in 2 days. It was inexpensive, and I had my dryer back and running in less than 3 days. I did get my son to help me as it might not be that easy with just 1 person (to hold the drum in place while putting the front back on). Great service and great information on how to do the repair.

When we ordered the part we watched the video, to see what needed to be done and both my husband and I got the dryer all ready for install before part came so when the Ups delivery came it took all of 10 min to get it back up and running! I loved the demo video on how to do the repair-it was very helpful. My dryer was different than the one on the video, and I had to make adjustments ( I had self tightening screws on the top and bottom of the front panel and then I stripped the screws)I did this by myself and I had to prop up the drum AND the front panel with items in laundry room.) That's why it took me longer than demo (also had to run to hardware store to get screws). Felt great to accomplish this by myself. Thanks!

open the back pannel and use multimeter to check the wirings and everything checks ok. open the bottom front panel of the dryer and turn the dryer on. the igniter works and the flame came out for seconds and dies off. the igniter keep coming on, but it seems that the gas was not coming out. i checked the gas line valve and it was open. i had a good idea it wasn't the wiring or the gas line, it must be the coil-valve,(safety coil), that letting the gas flow. i order the parts, it came sooner, which is good, and it took me less than 10 minutes to install, and i only use a philip screw driver. i thank you for sending me the right part in short period of time.

This turned out to be easier than I thought. I opened the access door on the front of the dryer after unplugging the dryer and turning off the gas. I reached in just inside the door with a short-handled phillips head screwdriver and removed the two screws holding the two coils in place. The screws were pretty tight and a bit difficult to get loose but after serveral attempts they finally broke loose. Once I removed the plate that covered the two coils they just slipped right off, much easier than I thought. I removed the electrical connections then attached the wires to the new coils and slipped them back on their respective pins. I reattached the "cover", then plugged the dryer back in and turned the gas on and started it up. The flame fired right up, much stronger than before I replaced the coils and of course the flame stayed on. Problem solved. Repair was really pretty simple with the diagnosis being the biggest problem.

I know now that I did not have to get in the back of the machine. Only lift top remove two screws for the front and lift off.The most diffcult was determing how the idler and belt went in but if you hold it in position it becomes to you. Thanks for all your help you run a good ship.

I unplugged the dryer then loosened the screws on the top and inside front, took the front off, I didn't need to unplugged the socket wiring attached to the door. Removed the drum (it came right off) wrapped the new belt around the drum, fed the belt through the tension flange and looped it over the pulley. Then rotated the drum a few times by hand to line everything up then put everything back together. It works fine now.
