Molded pins on bracket that hold microswitches sheared off.
Drilled holes where pins had sheared off. Replaced pins with 4-40 x 1" screws and nuts and fastened switches and spacers on bracket. Used Loctite threadlocker to prevent nuts from loosening and installed bracket. So far, both ice and water dispensers are working fine.

Ice maker nozzle broke off
Removed front panel by inserting stiff putty knife at bottom and gently prying snaps loose. removed two screws holding electrical board. had assitant hold both out to one side without removing their connections or wires. Cut off old water line about three inches behind broken nozzle. Cut head off a small screw and used threads to connect cutoff old hose to new hose. The ice maker in our 15-year old Whirlpool refrigerator quit working
Unplugged refrigerator and shut off water supply. My husband took out the ice cube tray, loosened 2 nuts (?) and took out 1 screw. Removed the old unit. Set in the new unit and tightened the two nuts and replaced the screw. That's it! (Parts arrived in 1 1/2 days!)

Water fill tube was broke at the 90° in back of the frige
Water was already off. All I had to do was pull the fridge away from the wall, remove two screws that hold the fill tube onto the back of the frige, then remove the fill tube. Install the new fill tube, reinstall the two screws. Had to cut the water line straight and clean, slip on the new Compression nut and farrell and insert into the new fill tube, tighten-up, good-to-go.
