Machine was not starting
Slowly my dryer began to stop worftking. I found myself wiggling the starter knob to make it work until it completely gave up. I took the model name and number and found a video describing how to replace the starter device. it took me about 20 minutes to make the change. it only took that long because I decided to clean out the interior thoroughly with a vacuum. All in all it was very easy.

Scraping noise at rear of drum
Watched video on you tube went to PartSelect web site determined it was the rear bearing from the probable causes listed. Received part in two days and the job took less than thirty minutes. The limited access to the belt motor was the only difficult part of the job but by putting the belt on the idler pulley first and pulling down on the belt I was able to get it over the motor pulley. Thanks PartSelect for making this job easier than I thought it would be.

Dryer was making an unusual noise and drum would turn only slowly
Replaced the front and rear drum bearings and changed the belt because the dryer was about 8 years old. The repair was easier than I anticipated thanks to the excellent repair video furnished by Parts Select. FedEx delivered the new parts within two days. Dryer works like new!

Squeaky Squealing dryer, then the drum stopped turning
I followed the instructions in the videos that came with the email I got when the parts shipped. I would recommend looking at all the parts that come with the kit before you start. The video says to reuse some parts, but you have new ones. Also, after unplugging the dryer, I used a flat screw driver to pop the tabs on the 'lid' of the dryer. Removing the two screws that hold the front on was easy, and removing the front to sit aside. The flashlight is nice when you reach under the drum to get the belt off the idler pully and motor pulley. Wiggling the drum out was a little tricky but not hard. After removing the drum, I vacuumed the lint and really cleaned the inside of the dryer. Taking the screws out of the inside of the drum would be easier if you can put it up on a table or other work surface. Bottom line, I'm a girl with arthritis and did it by myself, you can too :) Dryer runs like a dream

brown streaks on clothes and not drying very well
I removed and replaced both upper drum glide which took only a few minutes. The old one came off very easily and the new one after seeing your video was a breeze. The lower drum seal took longer to remove the old glue since it was nearly petrafied but once the glue was off the new one was extremely simple to install... My dryer now dries again and doesn't streak the clothes. Thank You for the help.... You are wonderful and made a task extremely easy. The only thing I didn't know was I had to lift the dryer tub up a little to fit the front back on. Wow I know nothing about dryers and this was a snap!!!!!

I want to suggest that you also purchase the lower drum seal or guide as well. When I took it apart I realized I needed it also.

Very loud squeal when dryer is running
I followed the instructions in a Youtube video that an individual made with his kids. The only hard part was removing the drum assembly, the rear drum bearing was very difficult to unseat. I had to reattach the front of the dryer to give the drum assembly more support to be able to lift the rear - but overall it was quite easy to figure out disassembly and reassembly of the dryer. There's really not that much to them.

Loud squeeking and vibration of the dryer drum.
I followed the directions sent by you step for step and the rpair was done in no time at all. Had a little trouble with the roller ball installation but figured out how to install it after a couple of tries. Repair was done with minimal use of standard houshold tools.

Brown spots on all clothes that went through dryer
Pried top off with small screwdriver, removed two Phillips screws from inside removed front panel. Ordered parts (waited only 2 days for them to arrive) used spatula to remove both drum seal and upper drum glide. Took acetone to old glue to clean up. Followed enclosed instructions on glue application and WHAM! It works great! I watched your video. This job was a piece of CAKE! There was enough glue (and then some) from the Upper drum glide tube to use on the lower drum seal. I would highly recommend using partselect.com for any appliance parts again. I was fed up with the brown spots before and was ready to just take the plunge and buy new washer/dryer combo. But after watching video, purchasing parts, and doing this myself, I am so glad I did not buy new. As I said, this job was EXTREMELY inexpensive and SIMPLE!!! Thanks partselect.com!

Rear drum bearing squealing
I went online and viewed a you tube video on replacing the rear drum bearing on the brand of my dryer. After reviewing this, it was pretty easy since I new what I was getting into. It really helped! Most of the time was spent cleaning up the inside and outside of dryer first before the parts replacement. Other time was spent in putting back the dryer where it came out of. New dryer replacement would have been $750.00 plus labor costs modifying the area where it had to be placed which may have included relocating a shelf and re-routing the dryer ducts. Total cost was around $50.00 plus my time.
