Just like the instructions. Piece of cake.

First i did some research on the internet approx.1yr ago.Just in case any problems like this or any other kind of problems should arise which it did.The whole thing is Easy all you have to have is some basic knoledge of how things work.All of this came "OFF" in (4) sections.After installing everything back it was as "Quiet"as the day we purchased it.Good for another 5yrs.Retired welder & "J.O.A.T.Julian San Antonio,Texas

Took the back dryer cover off and removed the lint cover all from the back of the dryer then replaces the Thermistor (held with 2 screws).

First off, I ordered the part around 1 pm, paid regular shipping, and it was here the very next day! As for the repair, maybe the easiest fix I have done. Make sure the dryer is unplugged, pop the top up and remove the front of the dryer. Take out the pulley (careful it can snap ya) then remove the drum. The snap rings around the motor can be tricky, so be sure to watch the video sent to you from PartSelect. With a couple of wrenches, loosen the motor from the blower and remove. Put new one in and put back together. Piece of cake. Took me about 20-25 mins. This is the best place I've ordered from and will continue to get my supplies here. Good Luck!

This dryer refuses to die and I am happy to keep it that way. Door latch was replaced in less than a minute using this kit. Easiest repair ever.

I replace the terminal block, wires , and dryer plug I unscrewed the back of the dryer and basically replace was burnt out. I was about to pay 200.00 to have it done but I looked on youtube and seen how easy it was so I just chose the site to order what I needed to be replace and it arrived quickly and more affordable to do it myself. took top off,took back off,took lower panel off,removed old motor without taking drum out,got the part # off old motor,looked it up on line then i found the video on how to do the repair...lol. The repair went well and the instructions that came with the new motor were very good as my motor had the old style switch and needed to be rewired. I did go one step further as long as i had it that far apart,I took the duct work apart on the back of the dryer for the vent and I was very glad I did,it had 25 years of lint and all sorts of other thing in it.I cleaned and lubed all other moving parts and reassembled,works and sounds like new !

Slipped screwdriver on top and bottom of catch and pullef out. Pressed new catch in plact. Job finished.

No repair. Just replaced the screens in the dryer and they slide in and out to clean. The felt gets worn fast.

Dryer was making intermittent squealing noises sometimes it was amazingly loud, sometimes not so bad. Still, I figured this couldn't be good so I wanted to find a fix. Read the stories here and everything pointed to the 'idler pulley', so I figured I'd give it a try. For me, access was the hardest part -- my laundry room is small and I can't easily get the dryer out or move it around. Not a problem with the part, just my own setup. Important to note that this repair is best done through the BACK of the unit, not the front. Once I got access to the back (removing AC and Water used for the 'steam dry feature') I also had to disconnect several of the electrical connectors to get the unit fully apart. Good news -- the actual replacement of the pulley took about 1 minute! It was just all of the moving and disassembly that took so long. The original idler pulley had worked its way off of the shaft and was out of place and causing the squealing. All is well now, and I saved a bunch by doing it myself. No more squealing!

Watched a brief video on YouTube and followed step by step. Real easy.

First tried repairing the old idler by cleaning and lubricating the shaft. That lasted for about a week but the squealing returned. Ordered the part and had it in a few days. Replaced the idler wheel and it's been quietly running like new for several weeks now. Now wife thinks I'm Superman.
