I have two drawers, both had the long shelf stud broken
I followed the video instructions, which were wonderful! Thank you for that. I removed the shelves, then turned each stud counterclockwise a quarter of a turn and worked them out. I would have been able to finish in 15 min. Or less, but one of the studs crumbled, leaving only the wire; so I grabbed the wire with the pliers and was able to work the old stud out after several minutes. I placed the new studs into the holes and turned them clockwise until they snapped in place. What a quick and easy fix!

Motor coupling broken and auger bent due to a jam
The new auger looks nothing like the older one it replaced but rest assured the part fits and it works better than the original. Once I figured out the LH stamped on the motor coupler meant left hand thread the repair was a breeze. It's a lot easier if you remove the motor assembly from the freezer and let it come to room temperature before starting the repair.

My Old Ice Maker Burned Out. Stop Working
I unplugged the refrigerator then I took the bottom screw out of the ice maker. I loosen the other two screws and picked up on the ice maker and it came out. I saw that the top of the ice maker where the screws are they sit in a groove so you dont have to take the top screws out just loosen them and pick up on the ice maker and it will come out. Then I unplugged it from the old ice maker not from the wall of the refrigerator. The reason is I didnt want to mess up the cover that hides the plug in the wall of the refrigerator. Then I took the metal on and off bar off the old ice maker and put it on the new one. Then I took the face off the new ice maker and unplugged the new wire. All you have to do is press down on the little clip and pull back on the plug. Then I plugged the old plug into the new ice maker. Then I set the ice maker in the grooves on the top screws then iput the bottom screw back in then I tighten all screws. I plugged the refrigerator in. I started getting ice in thirty minutes. My wife think I can fix anything now. Thanks

the auger broke
It was pretty easy, but I sure wish they had said the auger had "left" hand thread. After I watched a vid on youtube the job went very easy. The new auger works just fine. The only problem I had was the left handed thread with the plastic nut on the end of the auger. Well worth the effort now I can get ice reguulary.,All the parts fit too.

Ice bin auger drum had broken
Removed the auger apparatus from the ice bin, replaced the auger drum and then reattached the auger apparatus to the bin. Cause of breakage was due to ice melting in the bin and then refreezing. Keeping the many parts in the correct order on the auger can be difficult.

Ice maker stopped working
Instead of trouble shooting what part was bad, just replaced the whole unit. Probably cheaper in the long run and the whole process took less than 15 minutes. Pulled the old icemaker out, plugged in the new one and back in business.

Floating baffle and Ice bin auger drum were both broken and needed replaced.
The video of the repair that was on your website was extremely helpful. It showed in detail how to replace the parts item by item. I could not have done it correctly without the video. I believe anyone could have replaced these parts with your instruction video.

Ice maker stopped producing ice
Ordered the part and within 8 minutes I had installed it without having to use any of the included wire harnesses. Was making ice within six hours. If you take your time before, review the handy video PartSelect provides online and prepare the work space it should be a snap. I can't say enough good things about the swift delivery and usefulness of the part. Also, best price I could find after shopping competitors. I highly recommend this project, it was easy and should make using your otherwise working refrigerator more enjoyable.

Ice would dispense from door
Well I have to say as a HVAC contractor for 32 years this was a very easy repair for me or anyone who is not a HVAC contractor such as myself. I always like to do a little research on any repairs that I have not performed myself and the instructions and video that was available on this web site was awesome. I did this repair in less them 15 minutes removing parts and reassembly of new part. I did let ice bin sit out for about 10 minutes after I removed ice to de thaw and reach room temperature to keep from cracking frozen plastic parts. The new ice auger drum was a very nice perfect fit and was made of a much better quality plastic then the OEM that was replaced. My mother was very pleased as I did this repair for her at her home and she watched me do the repair and she is 74 years old and she commented that she could have done this repair herself after watching me and she also watched video from this web site after I mentioned it to her. I would highly recommend that if anyone needs parts for there freezer or refrigerator to buy from this web site. The price was much lower then anyplace else I could find and it was shipped to my front door in less then 2 days. I would give this company 5 stars and when I need parts for my refrigerator I will sure stop back here and buy the parts again. Thank You PartSelect and keep up the great job. Ken
