agitator cogs were wore out
I had to pry cap off top of agitator. Using a 9/16 socket a 4" extension 3/8" rachet. I loosened the nut holding the top of agitator to the bottom. The reached into the opening and slide the cog holder out. Removed the reainer ring and slide the cogs out. Installation is the reverse. total time less than 15 mins. My agitator is now agitating. Thanks

poor agitation
Removed liquid dispenser and inner plastic cap. Used 7/16 socket and extender to remove one bolt of agitator. Replaced worn out cogs then installed new upper agitator and put back together. All parts fit perfectly and it was a breeze to do. I would classify myself in the lowest possible "handyman" category. If I could do this repair, anyone can!

agitator quit turning
First of all I only needed the agitator repair kit only, I ordered a thrust spacer because the kit does not say it comes with one. It also comes with a new o-ring for the cover inside and a new seal for the mounting bolt. The extra spacer only cost me 3 bucks so no big deal, and dont worry about the 14 dollar tube of grease because you dont need it. I probably could have gotten away woth only replacing the cams but the whole kit was very cheap so I fugured I would replace it all. Most of the time was spent cleaning the soap goo from the inside of the agitator, so it all was pretty easy.

Top agitator did not move
The video instruction was very clear and to the point. However it would have nice to have had a tube of lubricant included in the kit, or at least let it be known at the order point that it was needed

Top Agitator Not Engaging
Just follow the partselect video connected to the part! I have tracked down some appliance parts locally in the past but I must say that using partselect was so much easier and educational than driving across town and/or making calls. For $10, the 10yr old washer is back and operational as it should be. It's only about a 15 minute job but after reading other comments here, I went ahead and cleaned the scum(yes you have it too) on the inside of both the bottom and top agitator pieces. If I need appliance parts, I will be back to partselect. Ordered Sun at 930p and got part Tue at 10a. Great Job! Great Service! Good to see it still exists out there.

agitator wasn't turning
The repair kit that I ordered was a long cam and mine was short.(I didn't know there were 2 sizes) Since I only needed the dogs replaced I took them out of the long cam and replaced them in my cam. No problem it was very easy and anyone could do it. I saved myself a repair bill and showed everyone that a woman can do it too.

agitator was barely moving
I ordered the Agitator Repair Kit (very inexpensive), the shipping was sooner than expected. The instructions were very easy to follow, I removed the agitator from the machine, every part that I needed to know about was listed on my instructions. I replaced all of the old parts with the new kit and put the agitator back in. The only tool that I needed was a socket set and my washer is working better than ever before. I will be buying parts for my appliances from here every time I need one.
