Auto Shut Off Switch

The auto shut off switch is for dehumidifiers. If the water bucket is not attached properly the switch will ensure the compressor does not run. You may need to perform a continuity test on the switch to determine if the part has indeed failed since you cannot tell by looking at it. Make sure your dehumidifier is unplugged before you begin. fan motor had froze up (not turning)

Took unit outside
removed the covers
cleaned dust and lint out with high pressure air
removed motor and tryed to repair it
when this didnt work I took it in to my desk and ordered a new motor on-line, this was at 2:30
the next day at 10;30 the new motor arrived via UPS. I installed it and the unit has run fine ever since. read more

Removed the front cover and then the humidistat from the bracket. Two push on wire connectors and then reversed. Very straightforward and excellent part matching. Given the prices for new dehumidifiers it was great to breathe life back into this unit which does its job well. Thanks for the easy to use web site and fast fast service! read more

We lost the water float. Needed a replacement

The float has two prongs that fit two snap fasteners on the reservoir tank. I just pressed the float prongs into the snap fasterners and inserted the reservoir tank into the dehumidifier. Turned the switch and pressto! We are in business. read more
