unplug take off vent hose and back panel unscrew one bolt holding the fuse disconnect 2 wires. Connect the 2 wires to the new fuse hold in place with the bolt put back on the back panel and vent hose plug in and your done

heating element replacement

Remove rear panel, unplug element & replaced with new .Then just repeated step. Patterned has sight to download instructions from. It made it really simple.

Door switch broken, light out

Very easy replacing these 2 parts. Simply unscrew the 2 screws under the lint trap on top and pry open the front top of the dryer (it'll open like a hood on a car). Then just unscrew the 2 screw holding the switch on by opening the dryer door and unscrewing on the switch- unplug the old switch. Installation reverse of removal! For the light, just 1 screw takes the pate off and screw the light in like a night light bulb-- EASY!

Drive belt very warn, not broken

I removed screws for the lint screen - TOP. Pry up top with screw driver. Disconnected inside top front 2 screws, removed door control wires, white and blue. Lift off front of dryer. Tip dryer back about 40 degrees against wall. Remove warn belt (not broken). Relocate idler bracket on the cabinet base, follow diagram which comes with the belt package. Be very careful that the belt is NOT on the side of the idler roller. I had to do this install a second time, because I had it wrong the first time. Even though I've done this repair 5 or 6 times, there's always a first time GOOF. Not really a hard job.

Dryer would not start

Determine the problem, Lift top of machine, disconnect wires to door sw. Bypass the sw, and short the circuit, with piece of wire, push start, the machine worked..problem solved. Replace sw by removing 2screws ,attach wire connectors. Done job.

no heat

remove dryer door....remove two other screws on front panel [left side].tilt panel forward and lift out of brackets.thermostat is visible .remove two scews that secure thermostat. disconnect wires from thermostat and reattach to new one. secure new thermostat reinstall door and front panel.

Drive motor burnt up

Instructions are available from other web sites. A few tips from me. Tape the dryer doors shut. When you remove the springs it falls open. Remember to just loosen the hex screws at the bottom of the front panel, it has slots and just lifts off of them. To easily remove the clips holding the motor bearings use a dull chisel or small pry bar on the outside half loop and tap the end with a hammer while lightly forcing it out.

Dryer door switch broke causing light inside dryer not to work and not shuting off dryer when openind door.

I watched you repair video and did as instructed. I used putty knife to pry open clips holding top down. Then a philips head screw driver to unscrew old switch and insrall new switch. Also putty knife helped to pry old wire harness apart.
