First I watched a instruction video online.. It made the job easy. I have done it before but I did not remember exactly how to proceed, After watching the video i knew exactly what screws needed to be removed and what tool I needed for each step. Anybody sees the video before tackling this job, they can't go wrong.

Just like the video. Disconnect the lint shute. Pop the top lose. Disconnect the door switch. I actually took the hooks off an removed the entire lid. Took the two screws out and removed the front panel. (The OEM idler was a teflon half-moon so I think the abrasion was what caused the belt to fail.) Put the belt around the drum. Rolled the drum to check the seal overlap was proper. Installed the idler and wrapped the belt around the motor shaft. Put it back together. Would have been a little easier with a helper.

The removal of the front door assy was very easy after I popped up the top cover with a putty knife.Once removed it was easier to replace belt and idler assy with dryer on its backside.the only trick was to get looped thru idler roller and then fasten bracket in slot on bottom of dryer.also the instructions were well written which made re-assy much simplier.

Removed plug. Removed lint pipe. Unscrewed lint trap under top opening. Popped the top up. Used nutdriver to remove top 2 screws of front panel. Lifted front panel and set aside. Lifted drum out. Replaced wheels and idler assembly. Parts were well engineered and fit perfectly. Vacuumed entire interior. Placed belt around basket. Replaced basket. Slipped belt thru idler pully and onto motor pulley. Tested basket one full turn to make sure the seal was in place all the way around the back. Slipped front onto two bottom brackets. Replaced screws in front with nutdriver. Dropped top back in place. Pushed down into holders. Screwed lint trap back in place. Replaced plug and tested. Replaced lint pipe. Done!

Went on YouTube ,saw a video on how to diagnose and disassemble the dryer. Surprised how easy it was. I figured an appliance repairman would charge 100-150 so I would be wasting anything if I tried it myself.

I had to spin drum for dryer to start, bad start winding on motor, not sure if the problem could have been fixed by replacing the motor contactor. I could not find a part # for just the contactor.

You have to disassemble the dryer. I looked up how to on youtube.com. I am grateful that people take the time to record the steps in which to do just about anything. Disassembled and ordered motor and fan, damaged fan taking it off, got it in in just a couple of days, installed motor, fan and drum, tested before complete assembly. Works great. Thanks

i took the back apart to find the problem, then i went online to findout how tomremove the blower wheel, just googled it. Easy!Took itnall apart, just had a bit of trouble getting the wheel off, was on there very very tight. Ordered it through you, easy, and very very quick, received it in a day. I got an email explaining the reassembly process. Easy. Just follow it to a t and you will be fine. As a woman, this was an easy fix.
