Agitator would not move or spin
Unplugged, removed water supply hoses, removed drain hose from washer, laid whole washer on it`s back without removing the cabinet, popped clips off the water pump and laid to side, took two screws out of clips that hold motor on and popped them off with a screw driver, unplugged wiring harness and another single wire on motor and then lifted motor off. Then pried the plastic pieces of the coupling off the the motor and transmission shaft. Cleaned debris off motor and washer, replaced plastic piece to the transmission and set rubber part on plastic. Then replaced new plastic piece on motor and set motor back into bracket and put all parts back on in reverse order. I make it sound hard but was a easy job.

Washing machine squealed as it filled very slowly
Our washing machine "squealed" as it filled. Only the hot water did it, the cold water did not. The hot water came in real slowly, and the machine made a squealing noice and the hose going into the fill valve would vibrate. When I ordered the part, on my order confirmation email there was a link to a video showing how to replace the fill valve. It literally took my less than 30 minutes to replace the part. The only thing that was different on my machine was the screws holding the controls on. Mine were hidden under a plastic cover on the front that I had to snap off. Other than that slight difference in screw location, everything in the video matched up perfect with my machine. With the new fill valve the machine fills in 1/2 the time. We hadn't really noticed how slow it was filling until the squealing noise started. After changing the valve, the difference in fill rate was very apparent. I'm sure the 15 year old valve was full of sediment and minerals. Works like new now.

Washer spun at about a quarter speed
The spin cycle was super slow leaving clothes soaking wet at the end of a full wash cycle. Ordered a clutch repair kit, watched the how to video that was e-mailed to me with my order while I did the repair and got it done in about 45 minutes. This was my first true appliance repair outside of maybe a busted fuse or replacing the heating element in a stove. Never thought taking the motor, transmission and clutch out of the washer and putting all back together would be so very simple. Meanwhile my wife is pissed because she thought she might be able to go get a brand spankin new washer...until I fixed the old one. Thanks for saving me some dough PartSelect.

Leaking water in front when washer was filling
I found a repair video on You tube by Parts Select. I ordered the pump and it could not have been easier. I probably saved $200. The hardest part was lining up the cabinet to put it back in place. Patience & you'll get it. Thanks.

leaking
Two screws on the back of the washer releases the top control panel. Then unplug one plug and hang the top over the back of unit. Two clips removes the sides and top which gives you access to the pump. You then remove the two hose clams and the hoses and two more clamps hold the pump on. Reverse the process hook up the water and plug it back in.

washer would spin intermittently
Parts Select is AMAZING!! It directed us to the correct parts. Ordering was easy. But the best part was the videos. The step by step instruction was a godsend. We followed it, paused it, compared it, did it. We had to battle grease and tight quarters, but got it done. The machine works good. We spent about $65 as opposed to $400+ for a new washer. Great website.

Washer stopped agitating and would not spin water out
When my 13 yr old washer stopped working the timing was not at all good to spend money on a new one. I have two of my children getting marriied within the next year and funds are tight. I decided to troubleshoot it myself online by googling my problem. I found out what I thought would be the parts I needed, I took a chance and ordered them. The bonus was the videos that you emailed me with the complete installation instructions. I am a banker and a 53 yr old woman ...not exactly a handy man. With your videos I was able to fix my washer by my self for just the cost of parts...so my wedding budget is still in place. I highly reccommend PartSelect for anyone...cause If I can do it anyone can do it! Thank you PartSelect

Small amout of water leaking from the bottom of washer.
This was a simple repair. I simply placed washer on its back. Then used some channel lock pliers to remove the clamps and hoses. Released the clips holding the pump in place. Removed the pump. Reversed the order and it was complete.

Water leaking only with washer running.
Tilted the machine back. Done carefully the hoses can all stay connected. Removing the pump from the motor first makes it easier to access the clamps on the hoses. Be sure to have a pan handy to catch the excess water out of the drain hose when you disconnect it. Connect the hoses to the new pump. rotate the shaft on the motor to line it up with the hole in the back of the pump. Clip the pump back in place, set the washer back in place and it's all over. It took me more time to file this repair story than it did to perform the repair.
