Ice maker auger not moving
very simple to remove 2 screws inside door at the top of the ice maker auger shaft, I then pulled straight up on the shaft which disenged it from the motor. Installed the new shaft by placing it in the same position as the one just removed, replaced the plastic cover with the 2 screws, and everything worked fine. It was obviouse looking at the old shaft that it's corners were rounded and that caused it to slip

Foam had torn off the flap door and the black thingy had broken.
Pulled off front. Detached wires without getting electrocuted. Marked them first so I'd know where they go. Pushed up the thing with wires so I could see the flap door. It had a heat thing in the flap which my replacement part didn't have, so I had to pull it out of the broken flap and insert in the new flap. Snapped flap door in place. Attached black thing loop to white thing. DIdn't use the spring or the white thing. Reattached wires and put on front piece. Everything now works. No more frost in the freezer!!!

Cracked Vegetable Pan
Made the order which came in a timely fashion. But the new pan was cracked. I immediagely called. The agent was friendly, personable, and helpful. She ordered a new pan, but it didn't come as it was supposed too. Yesterday I went to the barn and , yep, it was there! Why fedx put it there I don't know. But it is in good shape. Only complaint it that I have to keep the other part for 30 days to wait for notification whether they want it back or not! Otherwise very glad to have this issue solved.

Ice Chute Freezing Up
Removal of escutcheon was easy. Replacing icedoor was fairly easy, working with wires in the way was a little distracting but simple. Be careful with microswitches and locating pins. Two of mine broke, had to replace bracket. Simple job again. Everything working fine now. No ice jam in chute. Using needlenose pliers to remove/insert pin is the best and easiest option.

Refrigerator door not closing on it's own
Lower door closing cam was completely worn down so door wouldn't close on it's own. Ordered parts which arrived in a couple of days. After watching installation video on this website the job looked pretty easy. Needed socket wrench to loosen nuts at top, they were really tight. Removed door. Replaced both the cam on the bottom of door and the cam on the main unit, put door back on making sure it was straight and lined up properly. Retightened top nuts securely. Voila, problem fixed in only about 15 minutes or so.

Refrigerator door wouldn't stay closed
If you are having this problem, read this. My refrigerator door would not stay closed. This was over a year and a half time period. I thought it was something complicated and told my wife to call a repairman. Thank goodness she does what she does best - not listening to me! I finally had enough and went online and googled my problem and found PartsSelect. PartSelect had a repair video showing how to fix the problem. If you are like me, I'm very cautious about purchasing from a website in which I'm not familiar. PartsSelect is a reputable site (I promise I do not work for them). My refrigerator is over 8 years old and they had the part I needed, a lower door cam, along with a video on how to install the part. This honestly took about 5-10 minutes to do and I did it without any help. I was so aggravated at myself for waiting so long at doing this!! I actually ordered 2 of these parts, just for the next time. You can do this.

Light switch inoperative
Remove inside door trim plate. Then removed three screws that held in the light assembly. The only difficult thing was reconnecting the temperature adjustment rod. After replacing this rod you must slide the temperature control slide to midway and this hold the rod in place while reinstalling the light assembly. If I were to do it again it would probably take me half as long.
