Turn off power. Remove freezer shelves. Remove six screws on the back of the freezer. Slide out metal piece. Pop off plastic fan piece. Remove motor mount by squeezing metal bracket. Take off wires... Do reverse... Attach wires to new motor, install motor (may have to also use the clear rubber piece from the old motor which keeps the motor in place). Push fan blade back on. Screw in metal plate, turn on power. Good videos on YouTube as well.

googled the model of ice maker and refrigerator, ordered replacement ice maker from Part Select. Received next day, installed it in 10 minutes and it worked like a charm.

The door stop was completely bent over to the inside, preventing closure. Wife complained of door not closing by itself previously. I ordered the stop and closing cam kit.The door was easily removed after taking all food out of the door and removing the top hinge (3 screws using small socket wrench). Since the door has a magnetic seal, the door will not fall or move after this hinge is removed making the removal and installation quite easy. The door is light and was easily removed by lifting up off the bottom hinge. Once this is off, only a few screws needed to be removed to take off the door stop and cam. 2 screws hold the door stop and two screws hold the two cam pieces in place. The only difficulty was determining which of the several cams actually go on the bottom hinge. Make sure the one with the indented ring is used to go over the flanged door hole. This model did not use the cams with the flat surface or the one with the door hinge hole insert. This was a little confusing, not having the shop manual for this refrigerator. There seem to be more parts left over than those actually used. The instructions could have identified the uses a little better showing the optional models. Once everything is attached the door easily went over the bottom hinge and the door seal held the door in place while attaching the top hinge. Since this was the first time I attempted this repair, it took me a little longer to adjusting the door with the top hinge slightly loose to find the sweet spot where the door gently closes itself with total seal contact. If it breaks again, this repair shouldn't take any longer that 15 minutes.

We suspected the thermostat assembly was the problem. We reviewed the video provided by PartSelect and accessed the thermostat assembly. To ensure the thermostat assembly was likely the culprit, we used a multimeter to test it. We ordered the assembly from PartSelect and were pleasantly surprised at the speedy delivery. Using the same video, we replaced the assembly and put the refrigerator back together. Thank you so much for saving us money we didn't have for the repairman. We will be ordering again soon to repair a leaky waterline and ice maker.

I was cleaning my refrigerator. When the glass shelf was being cleaned it barely bumped the bottom of the sink. There was no water in the sink. The shelf exploded into thousands of small pieces simular to a car windshield. I was devastated! I went online and ordered a replacement that same day. The next morning I was on my front porch watering plants when a delivery truck pulled into my driveway. It was the replacement shelf. I cannot believe the fast service. Thank you.

I removed a few items from the freezer to make room. Husband took out the old ice maker. (We were sure it would require moving the refrigerator out which would have been a huge undertaking given the tight fit) To start he simply replaced the ice maker with the new one. I started watching...and even though it says that it will take up to 24 hours to make ice, it began making ice probably within an hour! After about 6 batches, I threw those out. (just in case there was anything in the line that would contaminate the cubes)It is obvious that the old one had not worked properly for a long time! The ice container is full to almost over-flowing! It has not been this full in a very long time, as I use ice every day! Simple fix! And might I add...LIGHTNING FAST DELIVERY!! It was here in two days! We are thrilled!!!!!

I watched your repair video, read the instruction enclosed with the icemaker and made the repair in about 15-20 minutes. There is an issue that others need to be aware of once the water pump is repaced and the tubing is connected and the icemaker is installed and turned back on; it take 20-30 minutes to pump the air out of the line and the for the water to actually fill the the fill tray (you made the install correctly, the delay in filling is not covered by either the video or the book just be patience don't disconnect and reconnect anything it will eventually fill and make ice and less than 48 hours). This vendor offers 4 star customer service at a fair and resonable price (I priced the parts separately prior to purchase and the kit is the way to go). I received the product within 3 days, shipped groung delivery. I would use your products and online service advice for installation on other appliances in the future if needed. You have earned my trust, and repeat business in the future; and I will gladly recommend you to others. Your customer focus and service is second to none. The evaporator gan motor would work sometimes, but not always, so it took a while to be sure this was the problem. First ruled out thermostat and defrost timer. Also observed build up of ice on coils, so I knew compressor was working. Once I isolated problem to evaporator fan ( by observing stuck once, and seeing how it didn't spin freely) replacement was easy. In fact, since we were able to keep the unit running by watching the old fan and ensuring it was working while waiting for the new one to arrive, I was able to swap them out, plug unit back in and start it up before the ice in the bin even had time to melt! This repair saved me hundreds in repairs, and even more if I had to buy a new fridge, because the new units are too tall for my kitchen space.

Pulled out old drawer. Slid in new drawer. Super easy!

Unplugged refrigerator. Unplugged ice maker and took out three screws holding ice maker. Put new ice maker and attached three screws. Plugged ice maker in. Plugged refrigerator in and ice maker began working. Threw out first ice cubes made. Unit now working fine.

Removed the back lower cover, behind the fridge. Uncliped the wiring. Removed the motor, (3 Screws).I did check the new motor before removal of the old one, to verify the older motor was the problem. After removal of the fan & motor. Removed the fan and placed it on the new motor, three screws later, plugged up the wiring, (I didn't changout the wiring, and the Refrigerator is good as new.

Just like the video I watched online at your web site. piece of cake.!!

Upon arrival I unpacked drawers and set in their location

Unplugged the refrigerator then removed two vertical screws on the very back back of the control panel (the ones with the washers). Do not remove the four other vertical screws in the panel. The front plastic plate on control panel snaps off and there are two horizontal screws under the plate. Remove them and the control panel will drop down allowing access to the light switch. Unplug the two wires (one black and one white) from the old switch. Discard the old switch, snap the new one into place and reconnect the two wires. Snap the front plastic plate back into place, plug in the refrigerator and you are done! Problem solved with a new $16.00 switch and saved at least $75.00 or more from an appliance repair call. Removed cardboard, Removed 4 bracket mounting screws, Removed plug, Removed screws securing motor to bracket. . Installed new motor on bracket, Installed fan on motor shaft , installed new pigtail on motor, Installed new assembled motor and bracket, Hooked up pigtail to electric supply, Installed cardboard, Plugged in to power supply and Voila, not even one foul word during the whole process.
