ice maker stopped making ice
After determining the control boards weren't working (by the light was not working) I replaced the control boards. By the way I received the parts in only a day and a half.It only took about 15 mins. The parts came with a troubleshooting guide witch was a little difficult to understand, but I got through it. The new parts were working but still not making ice. The water line had frozen. My wife and I took a meat injector as a syringe and injected hot water in the line and a air compressor I have and blew air into it also. It works again. As a tip try to blow air into the water line with your mouth to see if its clear.

Was not making ice cubes
I followed the easy to follow video instructions posted on the same web page I used to order the icemaker. I chose to order the complete icemaker rather than the motor assembly because based on price, ease of installation, and the chance something else could fail in the icemaker unit I preferred to order and install the complete assembly. PartSelect was a great web site to use to purchase appliance parts and get instructions. Didn't think companies did this any more. Great!

The icemaker stopped working
Removed icemaker and installed the new one. Went from six tiny ice cubes to four big ice cubes. Ice is of a higher quality, and the ice no longer falls out of the bin as the old ice maker's ice had once been prone to doing. A certified epic win on my part.

Water leaking and freezing on the botton of the icemaker mold
Install was done in reverse order of uninstall. The only thing that made this install a bit tricky is that the fill cup on the replacement icemaker was not the same part as on the original. I could have attempted to trim the replacement fill cup but didn't know how well that would work. I instead elected to install the original fill cup onto the new icemaker. This added a bit of time and complexity to the repair but I followed a repair video for when just the ice mold is being replaced. That video told me how to disassemble the ice mold and timer motor which had to be done to in order to replace the fill cup. It's been about 2 weeks since repair was made and the icemaker seems to be working properly.

water dispenser tube leaking at bottom
TURN OFF WATER (if not already). Cut (or disconnect filler tube at bottom). Remove faceplate from refrigerator ice/water dispenser area. Remove screw holding metal bracket that holds water tube at filler point. Held metal mounting bracelet and pulled old filler tube out. Fed new filler tube thru bottom (hole is located at bottom of left door at hinge). As tube came out at top, pulled length needed to mount to new mounting bracket. Remounted new bracket (with hose attached) with new screw. Reconnected tube at bottom water line connection. Turn on water.

Ice maker would not make ice
Completely disconnected the power. Just shutting off the ice maker switch does not shut off the power to these boards. The emitter and Receiver boards are located in the side panels of the freezer-one on the right and the other on the left. Just remove the 3 screws in each cover and disconnect the wire connectors and install the new boards. It's very straight forward and easy to do.

No ice, the cabinet was warm, but most annoying it broke every 6 mos since I got it
I replaced the thermometer first and it started working again. I was convinced that the reason that it continued to break every 6mos was because no one had ever replaced the fan. The difficult part was getting to it. After trying to get in from the front and from the back I finally figured out that I had to take the bottom off and tilt it on its side. I was then able to get out the pin in the condenser and move it to the side. I could then reach the screws that held in the fan. I then decided to put the fan on the motor and when I was tapping it on with a hammer the back cracked. I attempted to fix it by taking apart the old motor and salvaging the parts but that didn't work. I had to buy another $85 part and take the whole thing apart again. It was easier the second time because I knew which screws and pins I had to remove and how to get to them. I very, very carefully tapped the fan onto the motor and now it is working fine. I will let you know if it is still working at Easter. If it is I will have done a better job than the 7or 8 repairmen who have fixed it in the past

Ice mold was leaking causing all the ice to freeze into one chunk.
Got the main bolts off and unplugged and removed the ice maker. Had to remove all parts and rebuild it on the new mold. Was more complex than I thought but was able to get it done. Note where everything was as you take it off and you'll do fine.

condenser fan would not come on, and when it did, made loud noise.
Repair was so simple, I didn't even need instructions. Removed old fan with motor, installed new one, installed harness that converted plugs, done. Saved hundreds of dollars doing the repair myself.

Water would come through the door, but would not make any ice
I unscrewed the (3) screws on the bottom of the ice maker & the (1) screw on the electrical cover plate. I unplugged the ice maker & completely removed it from the freezer. Make sure to pay attention to the locking tabs or your maker will not come out. I took the bottom plate off the old ice maker & attached it to the new one, slid it in & re-plugged it. Tighten all screws back where they are to go & now I have ice. It was a breeze to do this job. Part was completely as described.
