cooling cycle not functioning correctly
Fowolled the video instructions except it was necessary to disconnect the damper control rod to correctly install the capillary tube. the defrost timer was extremely easy to replace after determining the correct terminal for the black motor lead. The side by side is working great with the new parts and I would recommend your product and web site.

Light did not come on (bad bulb!) on TC18KL
I have never before seen a bulb with the filament intact not light. If the bulb's filament seems intact, screw the bulb into a known working lamp and see if it lights. When screwing it back into the socket in the fridge, it takes a bit of extra effort to fully seat (until it does, it won't light!). For replacing the switch, I unplugged the unit, used a paint scraper and worked it under the switch bezel from the right side. A bit of moxie, and the switch came out. The replacement switch had a different spade contact spacing than the original. I used a pair of scissors to cut the rubber bridge between the two switch wire connectors so I could connect to the new switch. In the end, it turned out to be the bulb. NOTE: The Model TC18KL is _not_ listed! What I finally found that the number "P7803211WL" on the sticker is actually a manufacturing code. Found this out by searching, and Sears' part search came up with matches.

Cracked Vegetable Pan
Made the order which came in a timely fashion. But the new pan was cracked. I immediagely called. The agent was friendly, personable, and helpful. She ordered a new pan, but it didn't come as it was supposed too. Yesterday I went to the barn and , yep, it was there! Why fedx put it there I don't know. But it is in good shape. Only complaint it that I have to keep the other part for 30 days to wait for notification whether they want it back or not! Otherwise very glad to have this issue solved.

Refrigerator would not cool, needed to replace Compressor start device
The most difficult part was after I removed the old Start Device kit, the electrical wire clamp had to be adjusted so that it would fit back on the new compressor start device. Also the new one did not look like the old one so it took a few minutes to read the instructions and set it back up correctly but once in place it worked like a charm.

Temperature on refrigerator side was unstable. I was adjusting the thermostate control (center knob) frequently.
I followed the instructions shown in the on-line video for replacing the thermostate control. I had difficulty freeing the capilary tube from around the mechanical lever that controls the freezer side vent opening. I had to remove a screw that held the vent lever in place. This is a delicate activity. I was not happy with the way the on-line video delt with this particular issue. Otherwise, the video was right on and straight forward. The problem is fixed.

Refrigerator door not closing on it's own
Lower door closing cam was completely worn down so door wouldn't close on it's own. Ordered parts which arrived in a couple of days. After watching installation video on this website the job looked pretty easy. Needed socket wrench to loosen nuts at top, they were really tight. Removed door. Replaced both the cam on the bottom of door and the cam on the main unit, put door back on making sure it was straight and lined up properly. Retightened top nuts securely. Voila, problem fixed in only about 15 minutes or so.

Refrigerator door wouldn't stay closed
If you are having this problem, read this. My refrigerator door would not stay closed. This was over a year and a half time period. I thought it was something complicated and told my wife to call a repairman. Thank goodness she does what she does best - not listening to me! I finally had enough and went online and googled my problem and found PartsSelect. PartSelect had a repair video showing how to fix the problem. If you are like me, I'm very cautious about purchasing from a website in which I'm not familiar. PartsSelect is a reputable site (I promise I do not work for them). My refrigerator is over 8 years old and they had the part I needed, a lower door cam, along with a video on how to install the part. This honestly took about 5-10 minutes to do and I did it without any help. I was so aggravated at myself for waiting so long at doing this!! I actually ordered 2 of these parts, just for the next time. You can do this.
