I learned the hard way not to remove the screws from the lower side of the door. But by removing the wrong ones first I am now confident that I can replace the outer door face as well as all the components on the inside of the door. Keep small children away from your bits as my 2 yr granddaughter took all the bits out of the case and dropped them into the door. It was extremely easy to replace the part as soon as I figured out there was a small spring on either side of the part. Because my arthritic fingers couldn't stretch it properly a needle nose was quite helpful. My daughter was going to remove the outer part of the door again to retrieve all the bits but when the door was closed they thankfully fell out of the bottom. Since I wasn't sure if I needed both the actuator and/or the door handle I ordered both. I kept the actuator for a "just in case".
