I took the motor out and had it checked and they said it was operating properly. I then purchased the timer and replaced the timer and the washer started operating. I then thought I would take the timer apart and try and see why it would not work and to my suprise, I saw in the timer that it had a lot of the (asian ?)beetles were all in the contacts. too bad I had to destroy the old timer to open it up.
