There were very easy to understand instructions that came with the part. We unscrewed the access panel at the back of the freezer, located and unplugged the faulty defrost heater and plugged in the new one according to the instructions. Then we reattached the access panel and put the shelves back in the freezer. Works like brand new now. We also ordered a part for my washing machine several months ago and the process was just as simple. The parts were delivered very quickly and my life is much easier since! I would definitely use Part Select again.
