Pretty Easy. Popped the top cap off tand intermediate cap to expose the bolt that holds it all in place. It's best to pull the entire agitator o1ff from the bottom of the basket. Carefully and firmly pull up and it will pop off. Then pull the auger off. When I did it those dog bones popped out all over the place. (I laughed) Very easy to reassemble. Just follow the instructions.
(KIT DID NOT INCLUDE GREASE) I pulled some off the shaft with my finger. Carefully slipped theh agitator back on then but the new parts all inplace and pushed together. Put bolt in and tighten while holding bottom agitator. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN! Changed o-ring on inner cap and popped in. Made sure auger only spins free one way . Runs now like a new machine. When washing do not over load your machine as not to ruin your new parts!!!
GO FOR IT!!! Try and save 500 - 900 bucks!!
