Removed 3 screws from under icemaker and slid unit forward until I could disconnect plug on right side, which was the most difficult step of the process, and pulled icsmaker out.
Reversed the procedure with new unit, had a little difficulity with the rubber spout for the water fill, and in a while I had ice again.
Thanks to the info on your site I was able to verify that the valve solenoid was working properly so it saved me a step.
A word of caution-the icemaker plug has 120vac so unplug refrigerator before repair attempt.
