we took the dryer apart (this was the longest part, cause we didn't know exactly was wrong with it and how to take it apart) we didn't have a schematic or manual for it came with the house i bought a year ago. the dryer would turn on and get the heat, but the tumble wouldn't work. idea= belt snapped.we pulled off the back, tada broken belt. ordered the belt from this wonderful partselect.com website (home depot doesn't carry them!) and within 2 days i had the part to put on... real easy. it took longer for me to initiate project broken dryer than to order the part and reassemble. smeasy. it cost me 12$ and 2 days to do the same job a serviceman would have charged me 200$ and take 10 days to book an appointment with.
