Machine did not empty. Would that be drain pump or a spin problem? Could a sensor be bad. What should i try to do? Got it to empty by shutting off water and put it through rinse and spin cycle.

Good Day Robin. Thank you for your question in regards to your unit (Model Number WPGT9350C0WW). Based on our research, you may need to replace the Lid Switch Assembly (PartSelect Number PS960624) or the Motor Assembly Kit (PartSelect Number PS11736876). Unfortunately the manufacturer has discontinued the Lid Switch Assembly and we no longer have any remaining in our inventory. If it is the Lid Switch, We would recommend reaching out to the manufacturer. They may be able to advise of an alternative part that would be compatible with your unit. Best Regards.

Disconnect power and water lines. Lay the washer on it's back. Remove the nut (300) and washer (305). Rock the motor rotor (215) back and forth while pulling until it comes off the splined shaft. Remove the 3 bolts from the coupling assy (345). Remove the broken coupling (340) . Apply plastic grease to internal spline and gear teeth

before reassembling in reverse of above. The machine is engineered to work on easily, however, I would not have needed to work on it if they had made the coupling assembly out of metal. The plastic gear fatigued at the internal spline and cracked apart after only 3.5 years of use.
