One of my door bins and filter cap broke.
I searched the model number for my Whirlpool refrigerator on the internet and partselect.com came up so I clicked on it. The site asked for my model number which I typed in and there it was...a picture of my refrigerator in full detail and very well diagramed and labeled. Ladder Hook had broken
This was a very easy repair job! I just needed to remove the drawers and shelving, put the new ladder hook on, and repace the shelving and drawers. It took longer to remove the items from the fridge, then it did to replace the ladder hook.

This is a meat drawer shelf frame for some models of refrigerator. This white plastic frame measures approximately 12-inches wide and 16 inches long, and is used to allow the meat drawer to easily slide in and out of the fridge. If your meat drawer is currently sagging and this frame is damaged and not supporting it enough, it needs to be replaced. Replacing this frame requires you to remove the meat drawer and the glass shelf above it, so you can flip it over and slide out the old frame, and slide in the new. Plastic on the shelf broke (too much weight in the drawer)
Remove the drawer. Remove top shelf it's connected to by carefully lifting. Turn the shelf upside down and slide meat drawer shelf off of either side, paying attention to how it is placed. Install new meat drawer shelf, replace shelf!

We called customer service and the agent sent out a new one and we requested that this one be given better protective padding. She also refunded the first one as well as shipping costs. HOWEVER, when the 2nd bin arrived there was no padding but at least it was not broken!

We purchased the refrigerator new - but we wanted an extra door shelf bin for more dooor storage.
We ordered the bin and it arrived on time. HOWEVER - the plastic bin was broken in two areas. There was NO protective padding on the bin - just a simple plastic bag and then shoved into a box. We called customer service and the agent sent out a new one and we requested that this one be given better protective padding. She also refunded the first one as well as shipping costs. HOWEVER, when the 2nd bin arrived there was no padding but at least it was not broken!

motor was turning but no ice came out
took 4 screws out holding back cover of motor and un plug plug on right ps there is a tab to lift up before you pull plg use pliers to get off old coupling just keep unscrewing it till i catches good threads it will come off and put washers so you dont winde up back on to the striped part of the shaft.
