intermittant heat
First I shut off the gas supply and disconnected the dryer vent and unpluged the unit so you can access the rear of the dryer. Then I removed the rear cover. This is where you will find your thermostats and fuses. Holding the new part next to the one to be replaced I transfer the wires one at a time so as not to get them mixed up, then unscrew the old part and install the new one. Insert a flat blade screwdriver under the top cover in the 2 front corners to unsnap it from it's clips, also at this time you need to remove the 2 screws that hold the upper part of the lint filter tube to the lid, then lift the lid to expose the drum ( I tilted the dryer back as far as the flex gas line would allow me to and rested the top lid against the wall without removing it, to many wires). Behind the front cover in the top right corner is the plug for the door switch,un-plug it and also there are 2 screws one in each corner. After that lift the front cover straight up and pull it away from the cabinet ( it has clips at the bottom to hold it in place). Reaching under the drum on the right side pull down on the belt tensioner and release the belt from the motor then you can remove the drum. Laying the drum down on it's front edge I removed the rear felt seal and took a piece of sand paper to rough up th old glue and clean off some of the felt that was still stuck to the drum. Following the directions from the seal package I put the glue around the edge of the drum and re-installed the new felt. This is a good time to clean out your dryer, while the glue sets up. A shop vac works the best, but be carefull not to suck up the money, it will help pay for the repair ( I found over a dollar in change ). At this time I also changed the coils on the gas valve, remove the 2 screws that hold the clamp and replace them one at a time. Re-install the drum with the belt on it, fold it and push it through the tensioner and put it on the motor pulley. rotate the drum to make sure that the felt is not kinked under itself, re-install the front cover bottom clips first, then the 2 screws and the plug for the door switch, pull down the lid and snap it in place, before installing the rear cover this is a good time to remove the rear cover to the lint chute and clean in there also ( it's easy to see why there are so many dryer fires). Re- install that cover and the rear cover and vent tube, turn your gas back on and check it for leaks ( even if you didn't disconnect it) plug your dryer back in and get busy catching up on the laundry that you haven't had a chance to do because your dryer broke, then smile and think about all the money you saved by doing this simple repair your self. Water leaking on floor from door
Watched this video on the website and went to work. Went very easy and smooth with removing the door. A pair of pliers works fine for outer ring. Kind of challenging by yourself, but I got it on in less than 5 minutes. Pliers in one hand and flat head screwdriver in the other to work the ring on. Much cheaper than paying someone to do it. 2 out of 10 for difficulty.

Washer Front Load Bellow Door Boot Seal - Gray
The only difficult part was putting the outside band clamp on over the bellow without it slipping out of place - took a few tries. The video was very helpful - I did put hardware into plastic bags based on the steps in the removal for so that I wouldn't forget (or get them mixed up).
I was able to do this project while home from work with a sick kindergartener. Problem started and did the removal the first day ordered the part and it arrived 2 days later - install complete in less than an hour. We went back to school/work with a operating washer by the end of the week! Thank you - it was actually kinda fun and my son bragged to his grandfather that 'he and momma fixed the washer'. It is a genuine OEM replacement part that is sourced directly from the manufacturer to ensure the best fit with your appliance. The door boot is made of rubber, and it is responsible for creating a tight seal between the tub and the door to prevent water and detergent from leaking out of the washer when it is in use. This helps to prevent injuries and ensure the efficient running of the appliance. It is common for the door boot to wear down over time. It will need to be replaced if it can no longer securely fit around the door frame or if it is torn or cracked.

Replaced the washer door gasket
Followed the videos on line. However instead of buying the $75 spring expansion tool I used two zip ties. One at each end of the spring to create loops for my index fingers to pull the spring apart. Needed a second person to help hold the ring in place at 3&9 position.

There were holes in our seal. Water was leaking during every wash.
We unplugged everything. Then we removed the screws from the back of the washer. Then we slid off the top of the washer. Next, we removed the bottom drawer of the washer. We then proceeded to remove all of the screws and took off the entire face of the washer until the bellow was completely exposed. We did have to detach the hose and door clamp. We removed two metal clamps that held the seal in place. Once those were off we removed the entire old seal, replaced it with the new one, clamped it down, and reversed the steps to put everything back together. It was fairly simple.

Washer Bellow
PartSelect Number PS2342392
Manufacturer Part Number 134616100
This is a bellow, though it may also be known as a door boot seal, and it is a part for your washing machine. The function of the bellow is to prevent leaks by forming a seal in between the wash tub and the door of the washing machine. The boot gasket measures to be almost 21 inches by 21 inches and is gray in color. Take caution, as this part is prone to tearing if the washer is frequently overloaded. To complete this repair, you will need a Phillips screwdriver, a number two square bit, and a pair of needle-nose pliers.

Original bellow had 2 largish holes in the upper left quadrant; random leaking.
Bought new part. #1 Lesson learned: Always inspect the actual part number of the ordered/received part. Verify with number marked on the item somewhere. We did not do this and turned out we reinstalled a slightly smaller bellow (wrong part number received in shipment). We were able to fully install it but it was minutely not laying perfectly around the diameter. So minor we did not notice. We did have great difficulty installing though. Anyway, after 1st test run, bellow already had developed a small hole in bottom right quadrant from rubbing on the drum. Left a bunch of gray powdery debris on the drum too. We did not realize error until that point. Took bellow off again to verify part number on it. It was wrong. That explained why the door was so very tight to close and difficult to open. Other than all that, use the video to do the install. It was free to view and easy to follow.

dryer drum not turning and no air circulating
replaced motor and drum rear seal as well as idler wheels, the old rear drum seal was completly worn out, since I had it all apart, I replaced lint chute and trap seals and belt and tensioner. I spent less money on parts than if I would have bought a new dryer. The motor was the main problem as the bearings were shot.
