Toro Blower Spark Plug
PartSelect Number PS10018287
Manufacturer Part Number 870174001
This spark plug is a genuine OEM part that is used on gas-powered lawn and garden equipment. It is a small cylindrical device in the engine cylinder head that creates the spark that ignites the fuel and air mixture inside the engine. It has a ceramic insulator, a metal rod, known as the center electrode, and a metal tab at its base, known as the ground electrode. The spark plug may fail due to a buildup of carbon, physical damage, or fouling. If it is faulty, your engine will misfire, consume more fuel, and have difficulty starting. To check that the spark plug is faulty, you can visually inspect it and use either a multimeter or a spark tester to check for electrical failure. Remove the faulty spark plug using a spark plug socket and ratchet. Use your hands to carefully thread the new spark plug into the engine. Regularly inspect and replace your spark plug as part of your general maintenance to keep your equipment in good condition.

Manufacturer Part Number 114-9015
This OEM hex nut secures the blower impeller assembly to the motor drive shaft. This part is black, made out of metal, and is sold individually. Hex nut threads can become damaged, and ends can become rounded off over time. This is a symptom of fatigue and will require replacement. You will know this part is broken if the impeller is no longer able to spin with the drive shaft. There will be no airflow from the blower.
Most of our customers rated this as an easy repair, all you will need is a wrench or socket and torque wrench. When installing your new hex nut on the impeller blower, ensure your torque to the manufacturer specs when securing it to the drive shaft.

Toro Blower Tube-
PartSelect Number PS8832880
Manufacturer Part Number 108-8963
A blower tube is used to give the air that is blown out of a leaf blower a specific direction and point to blow at, and this blower tube attaches to several different makes and models. Made of plastic and measuring approximately 17.5-inches in length, this blower tube attaches to the main blower port on the leaf blower. Since blower tubes are made of plastic, they can break or chip if they are dropped or if the material is overstressed. If you find that your current tube is cracked, damaged or loose, then it needs to be replaced to maintain optimal performance. To replace this tube, simply slide the old tube off and slide the new tube on.
