MICROSWITCH
PartSelect Number PS8727790
Manufacturer Part Number 00614767
This microswitch, also known as a safety switch, is a genuine OEM replacement part for use in microwaves. It is a highly sensitive switch which responds to slight changes in pressure or position, and ensures that the microwave only operates when the door is shut. The switch can fail due to physical damage or electrical failure, resulting in difficulties closing the door, and turning on the appliance. To remove the faulty switch, disconnect the wiring connectors and take note of where they are positioned. Place the new switch in position and reattach the wiring connectors to the appropriate terminals and close the microwave door to check that the switch engages appropriately.

SENSOR
PartSelect Number PS8729847
Manufacturer Part Number 00642855
This temperature sensor is an OEM replacement part designed for use in ovens/ranges. The sensor detects the temperature inside the oven and relays this information to the control board, which controls the heating elements in the oven. If the sensor experiences electrical failure or mechanical damage, you will likely notice uneven cooking, inaccurate temperature readings, and difficulties heating up the oven. You can access the sensor by either removing the back panel of your appliance or by reaching through the oven/range cavity from the front. Carefully disconnect the wires attached to the sensor and pull the sensor out of the appliance. Mount the new sensor in the correct position and reconnect the wires appropriately.

Oven heating temp not turning off at set temp/overheating
Removed the wall oven to access temp probe connector strapped to the back of the oven. removed 2 screws holding probe inside the oven & replaced. Searched for the "fixing kit" thermostat part I was suggested to replace along with the probe. No thermostat type part was found in my oven, even though Bosch says it fits "somewhere". Reinstalled the wall oven & tested. The temperature is working normal now. Will return the fixing kit. Read more...

PartSelect Number PS3598699
Manufacturer Part Number 6600W1K001Q
This microwave door switch provides power to the various components in the microwave when the door is in a closed position, and interrupts power when the door is open. This door switch is approximately 1 1/2 inches long, and has 2 metal prongs called terminals that extend from its body. If your microwave will not turn or heat properly, there could be an issue with the door switch. You can check the switch for continuity using a multi-meter. With the actuator button depressed, you should see continuity between these terminals. If there is no continuity the switch will need to be replaced. NOTE: Before you begin this repair, first make sure your microwave is unplugged, and that your capacitor is discharged. A capacitor stores large amounts of electricity even when your microwave is unplugged.

FUSE-THERMAL
PartSelect Number PS8710443
Manufacturer Part Number 00414633
This thermal fuse is a safety device designed to protect ovens from overheating. It is sourced from the original manufacturer, and it has a red button in the center which is used to reset the fuse. When the temperature reaches a set threshold, the internal component of the fuse breaks which interrupts the circuit and shuts off the power to the appliance. This protects the appliance and surrounding area from potential harm. To check if the fuse is no longer functioning, first remove the wires from the terminals and use a multimeter to test the fuse for continiuity. You will need to replace the fuse if there is no continutiy. To remove the fuse, disconnect the wiring connectors, and remove the mounting screws that secure it to the oven. Place the new fuse in position and reattach the wiring connects and mounting screws.

PartSelect Number PS3529603
Manufacturer Part Number 6851W1A002E
Usually found kitchen appliances, this OEM-certified diode cable assembly helps to convert power from the transformer to the magnetron, to heat up your food. A damaged cable assembly will cause your appliance to heat food inconsistently or to not work at all. You might notice a burning smell or a loud buzzing sound coming from your appliance. If you do not replace a broken cable assembly, the components that produce heat in your appliance can overheat and fail. To replace your cable assembly, start by unplugging your appliance from any electrical source. Remove any protective casing from the assembly by unthreading any screws or clips. Disconnect the cable assembly from the transformer and the magnetron with pliers. Reinstalling a new cable assembly requires you to reverse the previous steps. Please keep in mind that this cable assembly is sold individually.
