Needed to change electronic control board
Unplug appliance. Removed back plate cover with 1/4" nut driver (6 screws). Removed old control board with Philips screwdriver (4 screws). Pulled out 5 old connectors. Were a little difficult to get out, had to delicately use a flat head screwdriver to pry loose as not to break the connector. Installed new overlay on new control board (I recommend getting a new overlay and not using the old one, its easier). Reinstalled new control board with 4 screws. Reconnected the 4 connector parts. Installed back plate cover 6 screws. Plugged in and all worked. Read more...

Runaway oven temp
After replacing the oven temp sensor, with no success of correction, i purchased and installed the electronic control board. After turning off the power at the breaker and unplugging the stove, I simply removed the top back cover, unclipped the wiring harness, unhooked the 5 oven element wires(writing the color and order for easier reconnection), removed the screws, carefully peeled the face plate off the old control board and re-installed everything in reverse order. Runaway heating during warmup
Initially replaced the thermostat and the problem continued. Website was spot-on with follow-up procedures and ordered the ECB. Installation was simple. Of particular note is that the digital touch pad from the old unit must be removed and reinstalled on the new one BEFORE you install it. Remove the old touch pad carefully as the sticky backing will peel off the black paint on the back of the touch pad and reveal the circuitry board on the new ECB. Time display went out and could not set the oven.
