This is genuine Worx replacement part.The cover protects the trimmer spool during use. The cover works together with the spool line assembly to allow line to feed out while trimming. This allows continuous trimming without having to stop often and replace broken string lines. With normal wear and tear, these covers can become worn, broken, or cracked. To remove the old cover, press in the tabs and the cover should pull right out.
