Gear Universal Specifications

The OEM Universal Gear attaches on the chute control rod, and meshes with the worm gear in order to adust the chute. Using the part is rated as "Medium" difficulty by customers, and requires pliers, a socket set, wrench set, drift punch and hammer. If the part breaks there may be broken or chipped teeth which will prevent it from adjusting the chute, and should be replaced. This part is constructed of metal and comes in gold. Refer to your make, model and diagrams to ensure this part is right for your machine.

My Simplicity snowblower has two plastic pieces to turn the chute they are both worn down do i need one of these and something else or do i need two of these and put one on each end and they work together

replace worn PLASTIC discharge chute linkage gears
start with chute auger and punch out roll pins and cotter pin, reassemble linkage with METAL universal gears
