Piece broken off of drawer slide
I removed the screws and replace the broken slide with the new slide. Put the basket drawer back on the track and it now stays in place and can easily be used once again.

Rails for basket drawer were broken.
The repair was as easy as removing three phillip head screws for each slide rail and removing and replacing the broken slide rail. However, over the years, the walls of the freezer had bowed making the drawer a bit short to ride on the new rails -- causing the drawer to fall off the slide rails since the span between each rail was now wi

This was the perfect solution compensating for the extra width resulting from the slightly bowed walls in the freezer. This solution allowed the basket to fit on each slide rail without falling off .

the basket slide rail broke (the center tab snapped off). I replaced the slide bracket but have a devil of a time getting the basket rail onto the slide. Is there an easy way to get the basket onto the slide without breaking the center tip (or guard)? Is there a vidio that shows the basket being replaced?
For model number FFU20Ic8cw1
Hi Arnold, thank you for getting in touch. Unfortunately, we do not have any video of that specific part. We will provide you with general instructions to solve the issue. Firstly, remove the broken basket slide rail and inspect the remaining one for any damage or debris that may have been caused by the broken piece. Clean the remaining rail thoroughly before attempting to reattach the basket. Then align the basket with the rail and gently guide it onto the slide. Be sure to align the center tab with the opening on the slide bracket. If the basket is difficult to slide onto the rail, try applying a small amount of lubricant to the rail, such as silicone spray. This can help the basket slide on more easily. If the center tab is still in place on the basket and you're having trouble getting it to align with the opening on the slide bracket, try bending the tab slightly with pliers or a screwdriver to adjust its angle. If the center tab is broken off, you may need to use a replacement basket or try to find a compatible slide bracket that matches the remaining tab on the basket. We hope that helps!
