My ice auger would not work.
After taking the complete motor, tray, icemaker, etc out and finding no problem, I then finally checked for power at the connector at the top of the icemaker. I concluded that there was no pwoer going to the motor. I then removed the circiut board and found the relay for the auger was not working. Putting the new board in took 10-15 min.

Originally, the auger would rotate intermittently. Now it won't stop when I plug in the Dispenser Switch Bd. Should the board be replaced?
For model number PHSC39EESS5
Hello Tim, thank you for getting in touch. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend checking the dispenser control board, part number PS1526493, to fix the issue. Glad to be of help!

Hello and thank you for writing.
Sounds like there was a short somehow. It certainly sounds like it could be a faulty Dispenser switchboard PS976808 and/or possibly a malfunctioning dispenser control board PS1526493
you should check the part(s) for signs of damage or test with a multimeter as this is the only way to determine which is the defective part, and replace the part(s) as needed. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.
I have replaced the solenoid and auger motor on this refrigerator and the auger is still not turning to push out of the ice tray. Do I need to replace the micro switch or circuit board 241527601 ?
For model number LECR23EFEO
Hi Mark,
Thank you for your question. If you have already replaced the solenoid and the auger motor and the auger will still not push the ice through the chute, you will need to check the micro switch and the dispenser control board. We have included a link that you may reference on how to check these parts. Once you have determined the part you need, please call customer service. We look forward to hearing from you!
