The water supply line to the water dispensing feature on the front of the freezer door unprofessional freezing and we thaw by hair dryer focused on the inside of the door. This is a temporary fix. What is a permanent remedy for the problem?

Hello Charles, Thank you for the question. If the line is freezing, you may need a new valve. The valve might be "stuck" open and allowing enough water through to keep water in the tube and sit until it freezes. You can also check the water line for any cracks or holes that would allow the cold air in and freeze the line. Hope this helps!

Hi Donald, Thank you for your question. If you are speaking about the tube that goes up to the left on the back side of your appliance, that leads the water up to your ice maker, I have listed that part in a link down below for you. Good luck with your repair.

This looks like the water line on the back of the fridge. I am looking for the water line that goes from the fridge to the wall. Are they one in the same? Thanks

Hello John, Thank you for the question. The Water Supply line from the house/wall to the appliance would need to be ordered from GE or a Plumber. We hope this helps!

I replaced the water valve. I bought a new tube but there is a piece that inserts into the end of the tube that screws onto the water valve. I need the piece that inserts into the tube. This is leaking. What is the part number? It is not in the schematics.
For model number GSH25KGreww

Hello Richard, Thank you for your inquiry. The water supply line comes from your water supply into the valve connected with a metal connector that is only available as part of the water supply kit part# PS311502 and then the other two water tubes going from the water valve to the rest of the refrigerator connect to the valve with a white quick connect which comes with the water valve. We hope this helps.

I need the hose that runs from the top left back corner of the fridge to the water pump. The end that attaches to the water pump has a nut on the end of it. The other end which inserts into the fridge does not have a nut. So far I have ordered part 806 and part PS311502 and neither of them fit.
For model number GSH25KGREWW

Hello Richard, Thank you for the question. The Water Line and Water Valve (pump) have been updated and no longer require the line with the nut. The line pushed into the new valve port. The Valve may also need to be replaced in order to be used with the updated water line. For more specialized assistance or to speak with someone about this, we would suggest calling the manufacturer of the appliance directly. We hope this helps!

I am having trouble with the water / ice dispenser delivering water. Initially water flows freely for about 10 seconds and then I get a banging sound from the rear of the refrigerator while water spurting from the water spout of the dispenser. Thinking it might be a Valve problem, I replaced the Water Valve With Guard P/N: EWR57X33326, and I still have the spurting water symptoms. If I continue to try to dispense the water along with the water spurting, water will suddenly stop flowing. If I wait for over an hour or so, I will get the water to flow again until the spurting water returns. I also had the freezer door replaced recently by a GE repair technician after a water line heater failed to keep the water line defrosted in solving the water line freeze. What can the problem be.
For model number GSH25JFXNBB

Hello Robert, thank you for your inquiry. The problem you described is usually caused by one of the following parts: a damaged filter, clogged water lines, filter housing, and water inlet valve. We would recommend checking the water filter, part number PS8746144, and replacing it if found clogged or damaged. Also, inspect the water lines and make sure the refrigerator is getting water with ample pressure and the tubes are not clogged. If you would like assistance placing an order, please contact customer service. Good luck with your repair!
