The water dispenser is running VERY SLOW. What to do? Does the entire water line need to be replaced? OR is the water line clogged? HELP!!!
For model number GSH25JGDECC
Hello Gayle, thank you for contacting us. If your water dispenser is running very slowly, it could be due to a few common issues:
1. Clogged Water Line: Mineral deposits or debris can clog the water line. You can try disconnecting the line and flushing it out with water to clear any blockages.
2. Water Filter: A clogged or old water filter can restrict water flow. Check if the filter needs to be replaced and replace it if necessary.
3. Air in the Line: Air trapped in the water line can also cause slow water flow. Try dispensing water for a few minutes to see if the flow improves.
4. Water Pressure: Ensure that the water pressure to the dispenser is adequate. Low water pressure can cause slow dispensing.
5. Kinks in the Line: Inspect the water line for any kinks or bends that might be restricting the flow of water.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, then we would recommend checking the water inlet valve, part number PS16226572, to solve the problem. Glad to be of assistance!
