Would like to know if all the surface burner valves are identical and carry the same part number.
For model number NX58H5600SS
Hello Krishna, Thank you for writing. There are several surface burner valves. The Center Valve is PartSelect Number PS9606628. The Right Rear is PartSelect Number PS11720720. The Left Rear is PartSelect Number PS9606626. There are two others that read as Item # 69 (5 btu) PartSelect Number PS9606627 and Item # 66 (16 btu) PartSelect Number PS9606624. We hope this helps.
to replace the valve I think I need to disconnect the igniter. how does that igniter get disconnected? I could not find a tab to press.
thanks
For model number nx58k3310ss
Hello Richard, thank you for contacting us. After removing the bottom panel and burner flame spreader, you will see the igniter connected to the burner tube. You will clearly see the igniter wire going under and it has a connecter at its end. Disconnect the connector. We hope this information helps.
