Is the drain pump you sell - the same as the water pump that will work the spray arms , etc. in this model? I didn't see a part for a water pump. We are receiving a loud noise like our ice maker

Hello Julie, thank your for writing. Dishwashers have two pumps. The Drain Pump that aids in draining and the Circulation Pump PS9606452 that pumps water through the spray arms during the dishwashing cycle. We are pleased to have been able to help.
Is there a drain check valve on this model? Water always left in cavity with filter after draining. Water drains with no problem but I see no check valve to prevent back flow from drain hose after drain pump shuts off.

Hi John, thank you for reaching out. We have found that your model does not come with any check valve. The dishwasher intentionally leaves clean water in the drain after every cycle to prevent seals from drying up. We hope this information helps!
