Washer cycles didn't advance automatically
1. Remove the main knob by pulling out the plastic pin with a pliers and/or screwdriver
2. Remove control housing cover (held by torx screws)
3. Unhook wiring harness from old timer
4. Remove bolt that secures the timer
5. Remove old timer
6. Install new timer, reversing the above instructions

Timer would not advance.
Removed the four torx screws on top of backsplash, unplugged timer, removed the one holding screw, slid timer back and removed.

The timer would not advance
Unscrewed 4 screws to remove the front cover, disconnected the old timer and plugged the new one in. So easy.
