How do i replace the thermistor
For model number DPGT650EH0MG
Thank you for your question. Before you begin any repair please unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet or turn the circuit breaker off. To replace the thermistor first remove the screws securing the maintop to the cabinet. Slide the top back and lift up to remove. Then uninstall the screws securing the control panel. Lift up the tabs to detach the control panel from the support bracket and move it out of the way. Remove the screws securing the support bracket so you can remove it from the cabinet. Detach the door switch wire harness. Remove the wire from the retainer and set the bracket aside. Open the dryer door and support the front panel as you remove the screws to release it. Pull the panel forward and lift up to remove. Disconnect the light switch wire harness and the moisture sensor wire harness. Remove the screws from the front bulkhead mounting brackets. Remove the screws securing the duct housing to the blower assembly. Now lift the front bulkhead up and pull it forward to remove. Now reach under the drum and push the idler pulley to release the tension off of the belt and pull the belt off of the motor pulley. Use the belt to help lift out the tub. Depress the tab to release the thermistor wire connector. Remove the mounting screw and remove the thermistor. Install the new thermistor and follow the steps in reverse to put the dryer back together. Restore power to the dryer and it should now work for you. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

According to the wiring diagram there are 2 different thermistors but you only show one to order which i did but it only lasted a couple of days. I was then told there are 2 and i must have ordered the wrong one so now i have reordered both of them.. i hope this is correct...am i missing something when i ordered and is the second one in the back easy to get to after i tear my washer apart again....thanks for your help.

Hello Ron, thank you for your question. There is a temperature sensor on the air duct, part number WE04X10111 and there is a thermistor within the blower wheel housing as well which is part number WE04X10114. I this this is the other part you're referring to. I hope this helps!
