This is a replacement burner cap for your gas range or cooktop. The burner cap is found on the burner head, and prevents debris from getting into the head when it is not in use. The cap is black in color and is sold individually. It is a little more than 4 inches in diameter. To replace the burner cap, simply remove the damaged cap, and replace it with the new one. I need to order a burner and burner cap size extra large. Please supply the product order number. I think i found the correct burner, but i can't find an extra large burner cap because it doesn't say the size.

This is the model of my stove. I’m looking for the xl burner cap on cast iron black. Not shined porcelain. Original parts were taupe porcelain. Garbage since day 1.

The Burners and Burner Caps were missing
Very simple repair. I bought the Range without the Burners and Burner Caps. So all I had to do was to purchase the Burners and the Burner Caps and drop them in. Wish everything in life would be that simple.
This was not really a repair. Just replacement. The burner caps get discolored rather quickly and nothing removed the stains. I'm thrilled to have replacements on hand.
Removed the old caps, replaced them with the new ones.
Original burner cap was chipping; must have been dropped somewhere along the line.
New burner cap replaced old; just placed over burner; no tools required.
One suggestion: burner cap should have been shipped with thicker bubble protection (easy to do). It was minimally wrapped and placed in a thin, bubble envelope, risking damage in shipping process. Luckily, the burner arrived in tact and usable.

Large burner cap finish was damaged
Just lifted old burner off with my fingers and replaced with the new one. What needs to be focused on here is the fact that Part Select has such a complete line of parts rather than the difficulty in the install.
