This part is exactly what I needed. I wish I would have done it months ago.
The turntable would click and click and just not spin. We would stop, manually give it a push, and then restart every time we used the microwave. This continued to worsen.

Flip the microwave over and undo the screws on the bottom. Unplug the old one. Undo 1 screw.
Put in the new one, plug it in, screw it in and you're good to go.
The only difficulty I experienced is that the back part of the microwave is riveted in place so when you remove the bottom panel the metal tabs and slots might not line up properly on reassembly and there is little to no adjustment available by way of the rear panel. It did require some coaxing with a large flat head screwdriver to get the tabs where they needed to be.

Motor quit turning
Unscrewed the base plate (3 screws) on the bottom side of the microwave, unscrewed the motor (1 screw) replaced motor, reattached plate, plugged in power cord, works great! Took 3-5 minutes
I had previously determined the like culpit was the synchronous motor. The roller guide had flat spots on each roller. Order parts from Part Select - pretty good price, parts were delivered in 3 days - much faster than I expected. Printed out a parts diagram from their website and grabbed my screwdriver. Also needed a pair of side cutters

Read more to cut the metal web that held the motor cover in place - only need to unscrew screw that hold the cover in place (bottom), cut the metal connectors, remove the plate and unscrew the screw holding the motor in place, pull out old unit, replace with new motor and secure the motor with the screw. Put the cover in place and secure - put the microwave back on the counter, pluf it in, put something in the oven and start her up. Took less than 15 minutes and cost me $50 for the parts. Great deal and easy to do.
The turntable made a clicking noise, sometimes turned in the wrong direction, and wouldn't turn when there was any weight on the plate. Nothing appeared broken in the 3 spoked thing on whcih the plate sits. I replaced the motor, but this did not fix the problem; everything works fine until I put on the plate or any food on the plate.
... Read moreI now suspect that the wheels of the 3 spoked thing have worn down. They have flat spots on them. They don't turn when the motor turns, but drag. I suspect that this drag was what striped my first motor. I will next replace the 3-spoked thing.

carasol would not turn
Removed the back plate, removed the old motor and re-attached the new motor and the back plate. Took about 5 minutes. Works great. Lesson learned - DON'T let your spagetti boil over.

My microwave no longer turns. I have the y shaped part but not the inner dia circle. Could that small rubber circle be the reason it isn’t turning?

Hello Sonjia, thank you for your question. The tray should sit on the rotating ring, Part #: PS952406. That part sits down in the hole in the middle of the inside of the microwave. If that part is broken or cracked it won't turn. The part the ring slides onto is called the motor and if the unit is working but nothing turning and the ring and tray are seated properly, the motor would have to be replaced. I hope this helps!

My oven stills works, but it makes a noise like maybe something is loose or bad in the motor. Could i need a new motor? Works fine, just sounds like something is making a loud rattle when the turn table turns.
