Oven not lighting
Secured the power, Opened the back of the range, and discovered a rodent chewed the wires in half so I striped the ends and wired them back together, the oven works great !!

Oven not holding "Set Temperature"
I followed the "Test Procedures" on your site { VOM to test the Temperature Sensor and observed the intensity of the Igniter } and found both items were not at specs. Although your video did not depict my model oven exactly, it showed me enough details on how to get to and change out the parts. IE: The connector plug for the Flat Style

First replaced temperature sensor following YouTube instructions.
Then removed upper back panel to expose the control board. Removed the screws holding the control board, but DID NOT disconnect the wires. Moved the old control board up over the top of the range to let it rest on the stove top.

... Read moreay on the new control board. There are edges on the bottom and one side of the control board that makes aligning it easy.
Then ONE AT A TIME, starting with the largest connector on the end of the board, disconnected a lead and reconnected to the new board. NOTE: THE CONNECTORS ON THE NEW BOARD ARE IN DIFFERENT LOCATIONS THAN ON THE OLD! But if you look closely, they are all labeled. Simply find the same label on the new board and connect the lead from that connector on the old board. Making the right connections is NOT a problem. And there are connectors on the new board that are NOT USED! A note in the packaging warns of this.
Remounted the control board, replaced the back panel, and plugged the range back in. The new control board flashed all the LEDs and the clock started blinking. Set the clock. Turned the oven on and confirmed that it lit, cycled on and off during preheat, and beeped when it came out of preheat.
Since this was a new sensor and a new control board, I used my DMV and thermocouple to check the min/max temp during the heating cycle. Had to calibrate the temp down 5 degrees. Instructions for doing this are on the web and in the owners manual. It is easy.
Finally, did the GE Biscuit Test (Google it) and the biscuits were a bit under baked at the minimum time and a bit over baked at the maximum time. Perfect!
Everything fit, everything worked, took about 45 minutes start to finish. Wife is happy and I'm getting baked goodies again!
F 3 code came on my panel, the oven wasn’t getting to the right temperature
I remove the old thermostat and realized right away it was burned, the replacement was very easy to clip on

My oven does not get as hot as the temp as it says it is. I have adjusted the control panel but it is 50 to 100 degrees off and the panel indicates that the temps are different on bake and broil.

Hi Angele,
Thank you for your question. I would suggest testing your temperature sensor. That seems to be the most likely part that is the issue. You can also test your igniter as well to make sure that it is working correctly and getting hot enough. If both of those parts are fine, you may have to replace your control board. Convection fan not working, does not come on, in bake mode. Convection fan works in roast mode. Could it be the temperature sensor?

Thank you for your question. Yes it could be. I would suggest testing it with a multi meter first to know for sure. If it is not that part it could be either the fan itself or the control board. Good luck with your repair.

This will not come to the proper temperature, it takes hours to get to 425 degrees. Could it be temperature sensor?

Thanks for your question. You will want to test the temperature sensor and your broil/bake elements with a multimeter for electrical continuity. Replace any parts that do not show continuity.

My oven flashes safe error when oven is on. I have to unplug oven to reset. It then turns the fan on and will continue working. Any idea what the problem could be?

Hello Gregg, thank you for your question. I would suggest testing your temperature sensor. That seems to be the most likely part that is the issue. Code f3 oven sensor

Hi Belinda,
Thank you for your question. The F3 error code does refer to the oven sensor and you will need to check the sensor harness and the connection between the oven sensor and the electronic control board. If wiring is okay, replace electronic control board. When testing the sensor with a multimeter, the sensor should be tested at room temperature. You will need to measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. Replace the oven sensor if the reading is less than 900 Ohms or more than 1200 Ohms. Hello John, Thank you for the question. A weak gas ignitor can cause the oven to shut off. We suggest testing the Igniter, It should read somewhere between 50 - 1100 ohms of resistance on a Multi Meter. We hope this helps!

I see questions about the oven not getting hot enough, but what about "too hot"? The temp on the oven was set to 400° but it seemed so much hotter. So we put in a cooking thermometer and it read over 500°. Would this most likely also be the heat sensor?

Hello Miller, Thank you for the question. Yes, this can also indicate a defective Sensor. Testing the temperature sensor probe on your oven is easy. With the sensor at room temperature, measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read approximately 1080 – 1090 ohms at room temperature. We hope this helps!
