Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This stainless steel burner knob is approximately 2 1/2” in diameter and is used to control the amount of heat coming from your surface burner element. The knob has off, lo and hi in black lettering. If you are not able to adjust the heat setting for your burner you may need to replace the burner knob, or check the burner switch. This knob accepts a D-shaped shaft, is made of plastic, and sold individually. This is a genuine OEM part.

The knobs look good, but the connection is not the same “D” design as wheat we have. they are very expensive, so I need to find a way to either change the stove burner connectors or expand the size of the knobs purchased. Not a good situation. there was no warning that these are not necessarily all one size fits all “D” connectors.

I have 5 of these knobs where the stems are cracked and broken. Judging by comments by people on the internet, it appears many owners of these knobs are having the same problems. I would like to know if Frigidaire/Electrolux made upgrades to these knobs.

Does this part come in nickel finish or brushed?

One of the control knobs has come off and will not stay on when placing it back on. It does not turn properly. It goes all around and does not turn burner on.
