I need to replace the waveguide cover. On this microwave model there is a small white plastic pin that is attached to the wall of the microwave that the waveguide cover attaches to. When installing, does this pin come out and then reinserted when replacing the cover or should the cover be forced over the pin?

Hello Barbara, thank you for your question. I believe that the pin comes out of the unit and is reinserted after the wave guide is put into place. If you pull on the pin and it breaks, you can order part number WB06X10126 to replace it. I hope this helps!

Why does wave guide cover have burn holes?
