I received a 00631683 knob from another supplier. The shaft on the burner control is too large for this knob. Is 429451 the correct knob? You say that they are the same.

Hello Bob, thank you for your question. Per your model information, the manufacturer pt # 00631683 and PartSelect Number PS9492686 (which are the same) is the compatible replacement knob for that unit. The replacement part number 429451 was the original part which was replaced with 00631683. It is an authorized substitution for the original part number and should work. If it does not, we consider this a bad substitution and you should contact the manufacturer. I hope this helps!
