This OEM Cone Bearing, also known as a Tapered Bearing, is a silver, .75 I.D., metal part. Sold individually, it attaches inside the wheel hub, and customers have rated the installation as Medium Difficulty. It is recommended to pack the bearing before installation. This part reduces friction on a moving part, inside of a stationary part. When it breaks, you will hear a grinding, growling or squealing sound. It must be replaced when worn or damaged (such as if there are scores on the rollers or on the mandrel).
