Gasket--Intake

This manufacturer-certified Gasket-Intake, more commonly known as the Intake Gasket, is a gray, 3 x 2 inch, individually sold part which can be installed using a Wrench or Socket and a torque wrench. This part provides a seal between the caburator and intake manifold, and can be easily installed. Just ensure you are tightening to the manufacturer specfications when repairing this part. If your engine is getting more air than fuel and appears under-powered, it may be a sign this part needs to be replaced. Try spraying a mixture of soapy water at the base of the carburator at the intake manifold with the engine running, and if the engine runs more smoothly then you have discovered the problem.
