Carburetor Kit 545013503

This is a genuine OEM supplied replacement carburetor kit. It is used on gas powered chainsaws. The purpose of this part is to mix air and gas before the fuel mix goes to the engine. This kit includes a metal body carburetor and a plastic heat dam. Please note gaskets are sold separately. If the engine won\'t start and the tank is full of fresh fuel, test the carburetor by removing the air filter and pouring about a teaspoon of fuel into the carburetor. Pull the starter rope. If the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem. To complete this repair you would need a screwdriver. • Remove the rear cover • Remove the carburetor • Remove the fuel filter • Install the fuel filter • Install the carburetor • Re-assemble and test the unit
