This a a genuine OEM replacement check valve for your small engine. It is also known as a fuel tank vent. You may need to replace this part if you are noticing debris or dirty oil in the reservoir. Make sure the engine is cool before you begin this repair, and remove the wire and boot from the spark plug to prevent the engine from starting up.

Where is the fuel vent located?
For model number Echo CS301 chain saw

Where is fuel vent ( check valve) located. Looks like its behind pull starter? How do i replace it. Thanks.

I cannot find the fuel air vent or tube. Does this saw have an air vent?
For model number Echo CS-341
Hello John, Thank you for your inquiry. Part number V471001200 is the vent tube, and the fuel tank vent- part number A356000031- allows air to re-enter the fuel tank. Hope this helps!

Fuel line grommet rotted
This blower is quite old looked on YouTube. Removed grommet with needle nose pliers. Removed tank to install new parts. I had trouble getting return line off carb so planned to reuse it after grommet was in place. Thin was a mistake because the seated grommet compresses the holes. Took unnecessary time to get it through. With my trimmer with all lines in place. Hardest part was to get the grommet to seat even with silicone.

Echo Trimmer reconditioning and service
I purchased several parts for my 25 year old SRM 2400 Echo Trimmer. New engine cover, gas filter, breather, air filter, gas lines and seal for gas tank.
