This trail shield, also referred to as a rear skirt, is designed for use with various makes and models of lawn mowers and is a genuine OEM part. This trail shield is sold as an individual part without its securing hardware, and measures 16.5-inches long and 4.5-inches wide. It features a notch on both sides to secure it to the rear of the mower chassis and prevent glass clippings, dirt and other debris from hitting the user. This shield is made of durable plastic, meaning over time it can crack, and when your current trail shield is broken or damaged, it is crucial that you replace it. To replace it, remove the bag from your mower and simply lift out the old shield and install the new one.
