Cover Specifications

This OEM spool cover is designed to protect your trimmer spool and keep it free from damage and debris. It securely holds the trimmer line in place, preventing it from unraveling while you operate the trimmer. The cover, made of plastic, is located at the bottom of the trimmer head. If the cover is broken, you may notice cracks, chips, or missing parts. This can result in tangled or improperly feeding trimmer line. Furthermore, exposing the spool and line increases the risk of damage and accelerates wear. You will not be able to trim evenly or precisely. Replacing a broken spool cover is a simple task that requires no tools. Just remove the old cover and snap the new one on. Please keep in mind that the spool cover is sold separately from the spool.
