Left side of oven door handle came off screw. Have tried to just screw it back inplace, but the screw just spins like something is stripped. Do I have to buy a whole new door handle? if so the repair video says the screws don't come out is this true? what if it is the screw that is stripped
For model number FEB30S5DBH

Hello Cynthia, thank you for your question. The screws do come out and are replaceable. Part number PS1151777. If the screw just spins freely, you will need a new door handle. Part number PS899760. We hope this helps.

Oven fall on its front door and broke all the glass and the handle.
First I removed all of the glass and broken parts. Next I placed the foil pieces on the back side of the glass. Next I put the glass into the slot. I then put the cap into place and then aligned the handle over it. With the help of another person, I inserted the screwed into the and saved us a lot of money that wback of the door (which is probably the hardest part) and tightened them. Everything looked great e would have spent on a new range.

Did not go as planned
I'm not sure if it was the handle or the associated screws (most likely the screws), but I had a lot of difficulty installing this on my stove. Tightening the screw on the right side all the way caused the screw to bust through the handle. It stayed on but the handle is damaged on the right side. To avoid having the same thing happen on the left side, I did not tighten the screw to snug. So, the left side is a little loose. I'm not sure if it is going to hold out. This certainly did not work out like I had hoped.
