This part is essential in your dishes getting clean during the wash cycle. If there is any debris or a tear in the filter, it can cause extra buildup and, therefore, causing dirty dishes.

the part was great & fit in the dishwasher great
the part was in great condition & came in timely manner - video definitely helped put the part in correctly - but our dishwasher still isn't cleaning dishes properly so we're thinking it must be something different that is wrong.

I cleaned my filter but clean light keeps flashing on progress line
Won't start a new cycle ???
For model number kudj02crbs2
Hello Robert, Thank you for the question. I suggest checking the Chopper, PartSelect Number: PS11745442 and the drain hose, PartSelect Number: PS2358130 for any debris or clogs. You may also need to check the Drain Pump, PartSelect Number: PS11753379. If it is draining slowly from a clog the appliance may think it is a dirty filter. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
Dishwasher has a bad odor.Replacing filter will eliminate that problem and if so can you provide me instructions on how to replace it.

How do i clean the filter and accumulator in my dishwasher. Where is it?
For model number IWU98664
Hi Nathalie,
Thank you for your question. You can try cleaning the filter in warm soap and water, but if this does not get it clean, you will need to replace it. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.

water is leaking out of the bottom of door how is this fixed
For model number KUDS03FTSS3
Hello Russell, thank you for contacting us. Please ensure that the drainage system is working and water is not accumulating in the dishwasher. The most probable cause of the issue is a bad seal, part number PS11731683. The seal forms a watertight barrier between the door and the dishwasher tub, deterring water from escaping during a wash cycle. When it is damaged the water will leak through the bottom of the door. Customer service is always available to help you place an order if you are having trouble doing so. Good luck with your repair.
We were wanting to know if instead of buying the accumulator and filter do you just sell the filter alone? We do not need the accumulator.
For model number KUDL021RBS2
Hi Tanya, thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, the filter and accumulator are only sold together in an assembly, part number PS897295. If you need to change the filter, you will need to replace the whole filter assembly. If you require assistance to place an order, please contact customer service. We hope that helps!

My Kitchen aid dish washer would not drain. I found part of the check valve, the round part stuck in the drain line. cleared the line, replaced the check valve with a new one per the part number , however the round tap part seems to be a bit smaller in diameter. then the factory one. The drain pump checked out to operate perfectly.
Reassembled, turn it on and the washer worked great except there were a small amount of water left in the bottom of the tank when finished , just barely covering the filter mesh. I pressed the drain button and it completely drained.
Footnote:
When going through wash cycle the draining through the garbage disposal was not a hard rush of water.
Thank you,
For model number KDUC10FXSSR
Hi Calvin,
Thank you for your question. The check valve was recently updated by the manufacturer and may differ in appearance from the original. It is normal for a cup of water to remain in the dishwasher. This water is there to keep the seals from drying up and will drain when you start a new cycle. If it is more than a cup, check the drain hoses for any clogs. Where your dishwasher is connected to a garbage disposal, make sure that the knockout plug has been removed. If you have any questions, please let us know. We are open 7 days a week. We look forward to hearing from you!
